The Eveleigh Family have just been for their hols up in the north of England, where we always go for a week in the summer.   We rent a cottage and go for walks in the hills ...

Coach body

Another GER 1862 first class coach body - this is to be the waiting shelter on my little layout 'Layer'.

Horse drawn cart body plus assorted wheels - most still need the naves (bosses) added (which I shall turn on my lathe).

  1. I was up there on Sunday walking up Whernside and back along the valley up to Ribblehead – I’ll bet it’ll have been running round the wagons from the nice new shiny sidings at Helwith Bridge, just south of Horton in Ribblesdale station.
